Massive Transfusion ENA Clinical Practice Guidelines

This CPG was created based on a thorough review and critical analysis of the literature following ENA’s Requirements for the Development of Clinical Practice Guidelines. Via a comprehensive literature search, all articles relevant to the topic were identified. Clinical findings and levels of recommendations regarding patient management were made by the Clinical Practice Guideline Committee according to ENA’s classification of levels of recommendation for practice (Table 1). The articles reviewed to formulate the recommendations in this CPG are described in Appendix 2.
