NC ENA Updates - Conference Call Friday, Feb.1 @ 0730

Greetings to all!! Hope you all are staying warm! We just returned from SCLO (State and Chapter Leader Orientation) in Chicago and I think we are still trying to get that chill out of our bones!!

As a Board, we learned many exciting new things that will enhance membership, government affairs and the sustainability of your State ENA. Remember, that as a state, we support your Chapter Leadership with a $500.00 stipend to attend this. You may want to think about sending your President or President Elect next year.

Feb. 26, is the 2019 Nurses Night at the Legislature. Each Chapter President has received a set number of codes to be used for a reduced fee for their membership. If you are interested in attending, please contact your President. Early registration will be open through February 5, we encourage you to register as soon as possible.  Prices will increase for ALL after this date. 

Our Leadership conference is March 1, at the Hilton Garden Inn in Raleigh. The information/brochure is posted on our website. Our plan is to have an abbreviated State Meeting at 0730. A sponsored dinner by Sarstadt will be held the evening before at 6pm. You can register for both at the same time. . I hope to see you there!

March 2, is the North Carolina Association of Nursing Students Annual Convention at the Hilton Garden Inn Raleigh/Crabtree Valley. As a State, we will sponsor a booth and Heather Tuttle, our Student Nurse liaison, Anisa Ray NCENA Emerging Professional Committee Chair, as well as our ENA National Chair for the Emerging Professional, Shannen Kane (also a member of HOC), will be present and represent us! I also plan on attending.

We had a great Face to Face first meeting, Jan.4 at the Chop House. Thank you to all that were able to attend! A big thank you to all that have volunteered to be a part of a committee. We so appreciate your help and could not do what we do without you.

Future NC ENA meetings:

April 5 and May 3 will be conference calls at 0730.

June 7 will be Face to Face in Ashville – Time and location to be announced!
