Anisa Ray grew up in Winston Salem, North Carolina and attended Winston Salem State University where she obtained her BSN in 2017. Following in the footsteps of her mother and grandmother, Anisa graduated with honors.

Anisa works for Novant Heath at Forsyth Medical Center in the Emergency Department. She has been a nurse since 2017. Anisa is also a volunteer with The American Red Cross Disaster Action Team and is a member of the Health Services Department where she volunteers over 90 hours a month serving her community.

With much enthusiasm, Anisa joined ENA while still in orientation and obtained her CEN at 11 months. She is serving as the NC ENA Emerging Professionals Committee Chair along with the mentorship of Linda Fonshill as the Co-chair. Please welcome and join Anisa as she is looking forward to making an impact serving in this new role and working to organize social functions and the NC ENA social media sites.
