NCENA 2020 Delegate Selection Announcement

Thank you to all of your who applied to be a NCENA delegate this year to the ENA General Assembly.  Based upon our state membership totals, we were alloted 24 delegates and 1 alternate delegate for this year's General Assembly.  The following NCENA members were selected as delegates:

Thank you to everyone who applied and for all of the continued work you do for the NCENA and emergency nursing around the state.  We are looking forward to an amazing and unique ENA General Assembly this year being a online, virtual experience.



Reminders:

1. All delegates are required to attend the NCENA Delegate meeting immediately following the NCENA General Assembly meeting on July 24.  See our calendar of events for additional details.  Of note, we will be closely monitoring the COVID-19 restrictions and make approrpriate adjustments to the in-person attendance requirement as necessary.  If you have concerns with attending in-person, please contact David McDonald, NCENA President.

2. The ENA General Assembly will be a one-day, online/virtual event this year on September 8, 2020.  We are working to select and finalize a location to meet within North Carolina as a delegation to participate in the ENA General Assembly.  This in-person delegation meeting will be encouraged, but not required.  Delegates may participate from anywhere with a reliable internet connection.

3. Delegate reimbursement this year is limited to $250 of eligible expenses.  Eligible expenses are limited to travel costs (mileage/hotel only) to/from the in-person delegation meeting on September 8 as well as registration costs for EN20X.  Reimbursement procedures will be discussed further at the NCENA Delegate meeting on July 24.
