NCENA Funding for ENA Leadership Orientation - January 27-29, 2022 (Charleston, SC)

NCENA values its volunteer leaders and will continue to financially support our chapters and state leaders to benefit from ENA Leadership Orientation.  ENA Leadership Orientation (formerly ENA State and Chapter Leaders Orientation - SCLO) will be held in Charleston, SC from January 27-29.  There are two options to attend this year:
1) In-person -- $199 registration (unless waived by ENA -- see below) plus travel costs
2) On-Demand/Online -- $25 registration (sessions will be made available after the conference is completed.

Registration is available directly via ENA's Leadership Orientation website. Registration is limited so if you want to attend in person, register and secure accommodations early.

ENA is waiving registration fees for the following state/chapter leaders:
- President
- President-Elect
- Secretary
- Treasurer
- Government Affairs Chair
- Trauma/TNCC Chair
- Pediatric/ENPC Chair

NCENA will be providing the following funding for our state and chapter leaders for 2022:
1) All chapters will receive up to $500 for reimbursement of registration fees and/or travel costs.  Use of the chapter reimbursement funds is at the discretion of the chapter leadership (i.e. chapters may send one/multiple in-person or elect to use some/all of the funds for on-demand fees).
2) All 2022 NCENA Board members, including the NCENA Emerging Professional Liaison, will receive full reimbursement including 3 nights* of accommodations, travel/meal reimbursement, and registration costs for the event.  *NCENA board members are requested to arrive on January 26 as our NCENA annual strategic planning meeting will be conducted immediately prior to the conference.
3) The 2022 NCENA Government Affairs, Trauma/TNCC, and Pediatric/ENPC chairs will receive full reimbursement including 2 nights* of accommodations, travel/meal reimbursement, and registration costs for the event.  *These chairs are requested to arrive on January 27.
4) All other 2022 NCENA chairs (Awards/Scholarship, Certifications, Communications, Education, Membership, and QSIP) will receive up to $500 in reimbursement towards accommodations, travel, meals, and conference registration.

As a reminder, travel reimbursement will be distributed in accordance with the NCENA Travel Reimbursement Policy.

The deadline to apply for 2022 NCENA Committees including the above chair positions is December 27.  In event we have any vacancies following this time, board members will temporarily fill the vacant positions until volunteers can be identified.
