2022 NCENA Committee Chair Selections Announcement

Happy New Year!  You have all made 2021 such a successful year both as an organization and as emergency nurses in your EDs across the state!  Thank you to everyone serving our communities during this holiday season!

2022 NCENA Committee Chairs have been selected as follows:
Awards/Scholarship:  Mary Lou Forster Resch
Certifications:  Monica Watts
Communication:  Aaron (Blake) Middleton
Education:  Linda Arapian and Kara Hensey
Elections/Nominations:  Charlene Kramer
Fundraising:  Chris Barnes
Government Affairs:  Tonya Davis
Membership:  Connie Lanier
Pediatric/ENPC:  Tracey Gates
QSIP:  Angie Alexander
Trauma/TNCC:  Jim Holtvoigt

We are still looking for chapter representatives for these committees.  It you are interested in participating as a chapter representative, please contact your chapter leaders to designate you.  For some committees, we would consider at-large members if your chapter already has a representative.  If that interests you, please contact the NCENA Board.

Additionally, we have selected an Emerging Professional Liaison to serve in a non-voting capacity with the NCENA Board of Directors as an advocate for emerging professional (emergency nurses with less than 5 years experience) and student nursing matters across our state.  Our 2022 Emerging Professional Liaison is Aaron (Blake) Middleton.  Blake will be serving with the following 2022 NCENA Board of Directors:
