**Call for Speakers**



The North Carolina Emergency Nurses Symposium 2022 is North Carolina’s premier emergency nursing event of the year bringing together stretcher-side emergency nurses, advanced practice nurses, educators, managers, and directors for cutting-edge clinical and leadership education and networking.  The program will be held  November 3-4, 2022 at the MAHEC Education Center, 121 Hendersonville Road, Asheville, NC.

The North Carolina Emergency Nurses Association is looking for engaging speakers to present cutting-edge, evidenced-based education on both clinical and leadership emergency nursing topics.  Presentation styles may include case-based format, panel discussion, or general presentation.  All sessions are 60 minutes, which includes a 50-minute presentation and allows 10 minutes for questions/discussion.  Presenters may submit more than one presentation.  A podium, wireless microphone, and laptop will be provided for all presenters.  Suggested topics include, but not limited to:

  • Cardiac
  • Compassion Fatigue
  • Disaster Preparedness
  • Leadership/Management
  • Pediatrics
  • Psychiatry
  • Radiology
  • Regulatory
  • Resiliency
  • Stroke
  • Toxicology
  • Trauma


 Honorarium:
$250.00 honorarium for the primary presenter
**Presenters may select to have NCENA donate their honorarium to the ENA Foundation in their name.**

Submission of Proposals:
Presenters must complete the attached presenter form, attach their curriculum vitae (CV), and submit the package electronically to the NCENA Education Committee via email at education@northcarolinaena.org no later than April 8, 2022.

The NCENA Education Committee will confirm receipt of submitted proposals within 48 hours of submission.  All approved presenters will be notified by April 22, 2022 of their selection and date/time slot.
