Congratulations to NCENA's Certified Nurse of the Quarter, Angela Hamby!

Congratulations to the quarter one NCENA Certified Nurse Angela Hamby MSN, RN, CEN, CPEN, TCRN. Angela achieved her first certification as a Certified Emergency Nurse in 2012 and has since also become certified as a Pediatric Emergency Nurse in 2016 and a Trauma Certified Registered Nurse in 2021.

Angela distinguishes herself as board certified nurse in multiple settings to include emergency room practice, academic setting of simulation lab and within the community providing emergency care in wilderness environments.

Angela is active in teaching Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) and Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) along with Life support courses at her employers organization. Angela's passion for education led her to obtain her Master’s in Nursing specializing in Education allowing her to use her skills and knowledge to continue to grow those around her.

Angela Is an active member in her local ENA chapter who helps to promote and increase the number of other board-certified Emergency Nurses.
