Call for NCENA Delegates to 2025 ENA General Assembly

Thank you for your consideration in applying to serve as a delegate to represent North Carolina ENA at the ENA General Assembly. Please know that it is a great honor and privilege to serve in this capacity for your State Council. This year the ENA General Assembly will be in New Orleans, LA on September 16-17, 2025.

FUNDING:
- NCENA will provide up to $1600-1,650 (pending final decision by the NCENA Board) in reimbursement for eligible expenses for all delegates.
- Chapters may elect to provide additional reimbursement at their discretion. Please check with your respective chapter for any available chapter funding.

APPLICATION/SELECTION:
Selection of delegates is on a point system based upon your contributions to the NCENA’s mission and vision, particularly your involvement with ENA at the national, state, and chapter levels.  To be considered for selection as a Delegate, you must:
1. Be an ENA member in good standing (per National ENA Bylaws).
2. Have attended at least 50% of all scheduled Chapter or State Council/General Assembly meetings.

This application must be submitted via Google Forms with any necessary supporting documents to the NCENA Board of Directors via email at “directors@northcarolinaena.org” with the subject line “NCENA Delegate Application 2025” no later than June 15, 2025. Please fill out the Google Form with the applicable points for the activities in which you participated or achieved. Please note that the NCENA Board of Directors reserves the right to request written documentation of activities and may contact your Chapter President for verification.

The time frame for accumulating points is June 1, 2024 through May 31, 2025, except for elected positions or committee involvements which are for the current calendar year.

ALL SELECTED DELEGATES MUST ATTEND THE NCENA DELEGATE MEETING:
**NOTE:  Waivers from attending this delegate meeting in-person must be requested to the NCENA Board of Directors at the time of application. Given the importance of in-person delegate preparation, waivers will only be approved in very limited circumstances.**
